Come and learn more about the history of
genocide! Interact with organizations that promote world peace and economic and
social stability. Several Sioux City
organizations will display social action
exhibits and projects.
Noon – 3 pm: Explore the Genocide and Social Action
Stations
1 – 1:30 pm: Father Don Doll, from the Jesuit Refugee Service, will
present his life-time experience traveling the world witnessing the plight of
Genocide refugees. Please take your seat
in the Stanley Evans Auditorium on the main floor.
An exhibit of his photographs is on the main floor as you enter.
1:30 – 2 pm: Explore the Genocide and Social Action
exhibits.
2 – 3:20 pm: Film:
“The Last Survivor” - depicting three genocides in our time - will
be shown in the auditorium.
3:30 – 4:50 pm: Film: second showing of the film:
“The Last Survivor”
